  • Probate court filings and appearances
  • Asset identification and appraisal
  • Creditor notification and debt resolution

Legacy Planning

Your legacy is more than money — it's your values, your family's future, and the impact you leave behind. We work alongside your estate planning attorney to ensure your plan is not only well-crafted but faithfully executed, generation after generation.

  • Coordination with estate planning attorneys
  • Review and organization of existing trust documents
  • Successor trustee planning and preparation

Conservatorship & Guardianship

Compassionate advocacy for vulnerable individuals

Conservatorship & Guardianship

When a family member can no longer manage their own affairs due to age, illness, or disability, a court-appointed conservator or guardian provides the protection and oversight they need. We serve as a neutral, professional fiduciary — always acting in the best interest of the individual.

  • Court-appointed conservatorship of the person and/or estate
  • Guardianship for minors and incapacitated adults
  • Regular court accountings and reporting
  • Healthcare and placement decisions
  • Bill payment and financial management
  • Coordination with care facilities and medical providers

The Role of a Fiduciary

Fiduciary Responsibilities

A professional fiduciary's role is far more extensive than simply paying bills. At Clayton Valley Fiduciary, we take on the full scope of responsibilities required to protect and serve our clients with integrity and care.

Clients or their families will often inquire how a fiduciary spends his or her day taking care of the financial needs of the client. Some may be under the mistaken impression that the fiduciary's role may be limited to functions such as paying the client's bills.

In fact, the fiduciary's responsibilities are extensive and varied. At Clayton Valley Fiduciary, we take on the full spectrum of duties required to act in our clients' best interests — from reviewing estate documents and managing assets, to coordinating care and mediating family conflicts.
